Today we’d like to introduce you to Aaron Hanel, a manager in our sales department. People like working with Aaron because he is a happy and positive guy who cares about everyone – his family, his clients and his team members. If you’re lucky, you might run into him at one of our Yardi Breeze events. Or you might chat with him on our website!
Learn a little more about Aaron by reading our interview with him below.
What do you like best about your job?
Two of the things I like the most about being on the Yardi Breeze sales team are:
- Seeing our customers grow their portfolios and gain more time to enjoy the things most important to them.
- I love seeing our team members grow, develop and move their careers forward. I’ve had six employees promoted while I’ve been here at Yardi.
Do you speak any other languages? If so, which ones?
I wish! I’d like to learn Spanish or Thai.
How do you like to spend your free time?
My free time is spent with my family (wife, son and daughter). Other than that, I love doing anything outdoors: camping, fishing, hiking, hunting or just being on the lake.
What is the most interesting place you’ve ever traveled?
Thailand. The people are amazing, humble and very welcoming, and the islands are the most beautiful places.
If you could have a super power, what would it be?
I’d have to say flying. Imagine a life with no traffic and being able to go anywhere at any time.
What is your favorite movie of all time and why?
Wedding Crashers. I cannot skip this movie whenever it is on, and I always laugh from start to finish. Plus, I may have had a small crush on Rachel McAdams.
What is one thing on your bucket list?
To attend either game seven of the World Series or a Super Bowl.
What is your favorite food?
Pizza, sushi and Mexican. I can eat any one of these for any meal, every day.
If you could have dinner with anyone, alive or dead, who would it be and why?
My grandmother. She was the glue that held our entire family together. She was the nicest and most caring human I have ever known. I miss her dearly!
